For the production of this high quality tea only tender upper leaves are used, grown in one of the most prestigious tea provinces of Uva on the island of Ceylon.
At an altitude of more than a thousand meters, the cool climate and monsoon winds create the perfect environment, infusing the tea with its characteristic bright aroma and delicate, subtle flavor. Carefully plucked by hand, the top two leaves, along with the bud, are lightly wilted and steamed before they are finally curled and dried. This process preserves the wonderful flavors and health benefits of Green Curls.
